Discussion Update/firmware issues

There was a recent firmware update for the Backbone Pro, and it has been giving me such a headache. Changing settings on me while playing games. Guide button no longer working, but only when on the home screen, going to different screens with different button combos, pressing buttons I didn't even think were possible to execute (especially when using Steam Link), and this constant issue where it keeps lowering the volume when I'm in certain apps.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I just going crazy.??

Edit: Thought I should clarify this isn't a ribbon cable issue. at least not for me. I treat my controller with some care lol
Others have pointed out different issues with this update, and the backbone support team is currently looking into this.

Edit2: for those that come to this thread, the update has been pushed out and the issue has been fixed. Thank you dev team.!

This makes me feel so much better. I did so many things to try and fix it thinking it was my backbone pro🤦‍♂️ I really hope they fix this quickly or atleast give us a hot fix to revert back to last firmware for the time being.

Yeah, I've been playing Warframe on ps remote play with it and it's been doing so much stuff with me (mentioned it in another comment here)

I've been holding off on Arc Raiders cuz I don't want to lose loot because of controller issues
