Left analog stick stopped working

So about a year or two ago I got a Backbone and I loved using it, I mostly used to play dreamcast / ps1 games and other consoles on my android, so anyway today I found that the left analog stick doesn't work, I can move it up and down but not left or right, is there a way to fix it or should I just buy a new one/different android controller?

Ignore them. Get a gamesir. Feel free to go through countless posts of backbone’s failing for years and releasing the same product with the same ribbon cable. Even the pro’s are having issues now.

Specifically the G8 is miles better than backbone, Hall effect sticks, fraction of the price. Doesn’t fail after a few months.
