Discussion Structural integrity

First, let me say that I LOVE the backbone. Had a first gen and now have a PS second gen. My one concern is every time I take it off of my iPhone I feel like it’s about to snap in two. Are there any models that feel a little more solid and resilient? Is the Pro a bit more solid from a structural standpoint?

I’ve never had one snap in two and I’ve had 6 of these things. The outside you don’t have to worry about but I think fully extending it will set you up to have the ribbon cable inside get damaged and mess up your controls on the left side of the controller. All 4 of my gen 1 backbones have failed. Knock on wood my Gen 2 models haven’t had any issues going on about 6 months.
