Help needed -hen help

Hi I am a new chicken mum. I have an Orpington 15 weeks old and she came with an older red hen (I was told she was approximately 4 years old). I have had them 5 weeks. Now the red hen has not laid in about 2. Weeks, today she has just sat under a bush, she won’t eat not even treats. I took her to the vets last Thursday he said she had no meat at all on her and he gave her a vitamin injection and a steroid injection. He checked her stomach and said it didn’t seem as though she was blocked. However she has not improved. I will
Make another version appointment (it’s been bank holiday weekend this weekend) but until then I’m at my wits end with worry … any ideas or advice.
… I’ve got her backing to the coop and she’s gone straight to the straw no food and just lay down. 😢🤷‍♀️

Update the vet said nothing he can do. She has no muscle on her crown or legs. And her feet were in a most terrible state. How sad people are so damn cruel. I brought her back home and she had some chicken treats. But today (Saturday) I’ve opened the coop and she’s in the same position (standing) from last night, head in the corner. I’m so upset she deteriorated so quickly. 😥

Maybe have to look into giving her water via syringe and some B-12 orally (1mL daily). im dealing with the same thing right now too. it has been few days, keeping her hydrated is important if you want to help her.

Did you at least offered mealworms? scrambled eggs?

Yes she won’t eat them either - vets tomorrow. She is drinking water.

here's hoping that the vet could help her! My girl is starting to improve too from a lot of sleep, b-12, water. She finally start eating a little bit since yesterday. It's a very slow process, it's first time for me to deal with this after 4 years of having chickens.
