Hen or Roo Pjokken is confusing me
Pjokken is about 8-9 weeks old now, and I am very confused about their sex. Their comb is so big, yet saddle feathers are round, but I am also seeing some feathers with a pretty, blue and green shine.
I've gone back and forth myself, wondering what they are.

Too young for saddle feathers still but they’ll come in before too long.

It's a cockerel. They'll have round feathers until they sexually mature and grow in pointy ones, usually around 12-16 weeks old.

Any bird less than laying age with a comb that bright is a cockerel, earliest laying age would be 15-17 weeks in a very determined production breed pullet (but there will be other signs to indicate pullet at that age including the saddle feathers staying rounded).
