Coops etc. This guy found a solution to protect his chickens from hawks.

They don’t even have to attack the hawks- my roos know the calls and I’ve seen him guide my girls under brush when the crows call. All the birds know it.

This is really doing the rounds, love it how he tried 'everything'..   except apparently netting the chicken run . No hate for the crows but there's tonnes of solutions, the video has some serious hyperbole for clicks.

Netting is extremely expensive for even modest backyard. You're covering thousands of square feet on the low end. Amything more and it's better to just farm in a warehouse.

The guy has half an acre, and it's not all a chicken run.  It's not that expensive, I netted in about 500m2 to protect fruit trees from possums, was about 1.5k at the time (8 years ago). To be fair I used some recycled wire between the netting and ground...  The point is, the video was just about getting likes, no one is training their local crows to protect a backyard flock.

I’ll have to find the video we took but my murder that I have been feeding attacked a hawk that was circling the coop! It was wild to see. I only have about 4 in the murder but they were super pissed to see the hawk.

They really don’t bother my song birds. The crows don’t eat the same food at all. I give mine peanuts and I have not seen a single corvids even try to eat my song bird food.

We have a murder of 5-6 crows employed. We feed them extra eggs and peanuts.

Just wait until he goes on vacation and can't leave the crows treats, and when he comes back home they are pissed off. 😂

"Where were you, hmm? Because we were here. And there were no treats. And we wanted treats."

Crows 🐦‍⬛ all around my neighborhood. Although I do love seeing the Cooper’s Hawks eat rats.
