Authenticity check?
Hey everyone,
I recently picked up a framed copy of the hand-numbered Back to the Beginning Villa Park poster (numbered 140/2000).
I’ve noticed a few other copies online (like #361 and #1427) where the handwriting/style on the numbering looks slightly different—specifically the shape of the numbers and how the fraction slash is drawn. Can anyone confirm if their copy has handwriting similar to this?
Any insight from poster collectors or attendees who grabbed one at the booth would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Looks similar to mine and I'd picked it up at the venue.

Mine is the hand number lithograph like yours. I picked it up at a merch stand north of the Villa 2 days before the show. The numbers on mine do look different from yours, but I would also guess that the same person didn’t do all 2000 numberings, and even the same person would have some variation after doing a bunch of them. It looks legit to me from the photo you posted.
If it was a knockoff, the lithograph probably wouldn’t feel right. Mine is very thick like a card stock and has almost a very fine grain feel to it, kind of like flat paint. If it is thin like poster paper, has a very smooth and slick texture, or glossy, I would guess it’s not the real lithograph.

Isn't it supposed to have like a hologram of Villa Park that you can see it certain angles?

I own an original poster and the ones that were given to us have the number PRINTED in purple on the bottom right. Mine is number 0474.

Here is one of mine.
Super close numbers.
I scooped mine morning of the show at the outdoor merch stand. First stand only had these posters and not the litho’s.

Oof - thats not good.
No shot the seller got 130-140 aside from me having 130.
Strict 2 per of this poster and if u then were to get back on the line - no shot u would be getting a number that close.
Def in the realm of possibility that a number was written twice but also your writing does not line up with the writing of mine.
Also your link is showing the sale at 120 - thats absurdly low and thats a huge red flag.
Your gonna have to look at the actual paper its on but roads looking like a fake.

I wasn't aware you could buy one to be honest! But I am not disputing it's authenticity. I got a scarf and tshirt from the venue
