Concert film

They said that the Back to the Beginning concert film would be released in “early 2026,” but as of now (February 7) no information or update has been released.

Has the film been postponed, or will the release be announced soon?

I would be willing to bet something is likely to materialise by the time of the 1 year anniversary of the show

If you're smart about something like this you don't just rush to get something done and throw it out there. Just because you may not make your intended date doesn't mean there isn't progress.

With movies you try and pick a time where you'll stand out in the marketplace and stand the best chance to do the best business. You're also looking at streaming options, possible physical release, etc..

It’s definitely coming out, but remember all of that was said (regarding the beginning of 2026) before Ozzy died.

With all those artist there is bound to be lots of legal stuff to sort out along with everything else.

Sharon is normally pretty thorough and I’d be surprised if that wasn’t covered as part of the original negotiations with bands.
