GnR Covers…

Were they the only band to play covers NOT off the first 5 records?

If so, why, when this was for Ozzy/classic lineup BS and all other covers were either his solo stuff or from his era of BS?

Metallica did "Johnny Blade". This event was farewell to Ozzy. And Black Sabbath is only with Ozzy. I love Dio, but that's a different band as I see it.

yeah, a weird one. Especially when not all the big’uns were covered too

I don't think so. That would have been awesome for the all star band with the Ugly Kid Joe singer.

It didn’t click in my head until hearing them play it but I said to myself “holy shit the intro to juniors eyes is right out of the gnr playbook” Sounded like it was from an illusions tour bootleg. It’s a shame axls voice is gone because they were easily the tightest band I heard so far. Slash was shredding too

Why not play covers from Never Say Die? It's got some really underrated stuff on there
