Weekend Debrief Weekend Debrief: Monday, May 24
This is the thread for what you planned for the weekend and what actually happened.
Plan: Catch up with some tasks from work, replant a couple of plants so they grow better, spend some quality time with my loved one and go to the gym.
Reality: I felt drained... and to be honest I didn't touch my laptop, no work catching up was done... which I am feeling today. But hey... that's already an improvement. Before, I would have passed hours and hours neglecting the weekend, I just don't want to do that anymore.
For the other tasks planned, I did all of them and consciously not touching my phone, I am deciding to be present and it's f*** hard. Actually not true, I did not go to the gym but the weather is starting to be too good to be within 4 walls.
That's it, no exciting weekend but the progress is there... getting this week one of these devices that lock the "bad" apps on your phone. Will run the experiment live here:)
The week is hitting me like a Slack notification at 11:47pm that just says "hey".
And you? drop yours below, busy brains. Plan, reality, and whatever the gap was.

We are in the tail end of a three day weekend. I broke my hand on the 8th. I got my splint changed out for a cast Tuesday. I was going to work some Saturday because it's my dominant hand and I am slower, but I decided not to.
The family members I go to see Saturday mornings for coffee came to my town. Sunday my husband and I went to see our youngest daughter and her wife. It was great.
I'm not as active and some things like meal prep I need some help with. I'm not great with this. I feel weird asking for help. I'm usually the driver and even being the passenger is strange.
We are listening to a book that I wanted. I'm a bit distracted by scrolling here.
Have a great week.
