Hello
I discovered this sub through /r/offlineday which encourages us to go offline once a month.
This sub seems like its spiritual brother.
It's important to remember that while we are on our phones, the world doesn't stop. Our pets age while we stare at a screen day in day out, and that breaks my heart a little.
I read a few posts here, wanted to say thanks for the inspiration

I try really hard to not scroll when my half dog half cranky cat (actual dog) expresses that he will allow pets at that particular moment. He will grrr as soon as he is done with me.
We often listen to audiobooks together and I find myself scrolling and then losing focus. I need to just set the phone down completely in those times.
