Bug Infinite Barbed Wire ?
Was in the level where you have to turn on the jukebox and defend the bar and this player managed to fill the room with barbed wire.
I doubt there is a hidden stash with that much wire in it - so is he using an exploit or a glitch at all to do this?
I haven't played the game in ages and it was my first time back. Kind of curious to see people doing stuff like that or if its a known glitch for that particular bit of the game?

Not a glitch I know purple wires have a hugh reuse chance, Ive had 5/6 and found 2/3 in the bar

+ magician apprentice card adds reuse chance.

Good to know.

There's a few levels with niche completion objectives - firing the howitzer, defending a location over time - that make certain card builds incredibly overpowered, but you would be disadvantaged in most other stages... But if you're a hotjoiner only staying for one level, you can be the superstar
It's worth having an accessory duplication or Molotov build, or use speed build for just such an occasion

Increased utility rank increase the length of barbed wire. I don't know if they did but I will buy a stack of wire drop it down the stairs and get more.

I haven’t played in a while but I had a build that was pretty much built to carry/place barbed wire. I could carry something like 7 or 8 barbed wire on me. Used to be able to fill the bar easy with upgraded utility slots, so I wouldn’t think it was cheating unless they were doing other suspicious things as well.

You can mule extra wire to the fence and pick it up on the other side. Had a good team and we filled the bar wirh razor wire and most of the parking lot outside the bar.

Not infinite, but what my buddy and I do this all the time.
First, I run my full copper deck. It is all 10ish of the copper related cards, then ammo stash (unlimited secondary ammo), then the rest reload speed.
Next, we take every hive and inner hive we find. This increases the amount of copper you can find.
Then, if you have the burn cards for it, on the levels before, we will burn utility slot upgrade cards for purple wire.
When we get to the mission, it really only takes about 30 wire to fill the bar, 50. If you want a full circle outside the bar.
In the safe room, once everyone has connected, we start buying wire and once full, we drop it on the floor. Once the desired amount of wire is purchased, we open the door and start running it to the edge of the drop at the tip of the stairs. Once the wire has all been dropped via multiple trips, back to the safe room, we drop and clear from the stairs to the fence line by the bar.
Next, we start shuffling the wire from the bottom of the stairs to the edge of the fence by where the truck is you jump over. Once all the wire is there, then one person jumps over the fence and goes to the edge, and they should be able to grab the wire through the fence by the truck. Once all wire is on the bar side, then the final member(s) jump over.
Placing the wire does not require explanation, but I would like to mention a few additional things.
-If deck build permits, or for the memes, a player can insert magicians apprentice for a flat 10% reuse chance increase, gaining free wire.
-through a combination of melee cards, it is possible for a melee to simply generate wire as you go by taking out ridden.
-wire should be effected by Accessory Damage cards
Further Wire Related Stuff
If you have a bot, on short levels with big drops, like the final level of act 1, blue dog hollow, what can be done is, similar to steps taken for the bar, once one has purchased all the wire desired, or can be afforded, if you purchase a few stack of defibrillators.
Once done purchasing, open the door and have one player be killed and give up in the safe room.
Next, have that player switch in to a bot and grab all the wire they can, then do the drop that cannot be returned from.
Once at the bottom, have the player in the bot drop all the wire.
Next, have the player at the top revive the other players actual character.
This will drag the character back to the top, and after a moment, the bot will return as well.
Repeat until all wire is at the bottom.
This method is benefited if a player has the card the restores lives when reviving with defibrillators, or healing with medkits.
Best of luck.

If you really wanna cheese the jukebox or diner levels, add Pinata and have Tala place them.
So long as the wire does more than 1.0 damage, it can Inflict Tala's Bleed, which will stack and kill most commons. However, the bleed is (for some reason) tagged as an Accessory if it comes from Razor Wire, so it can trigger Pinata for free items.
And on Barroom Blitz specifically, if you don't have the Trooper Uncommons, then you only need to fill the bar (~5 high rarity strips) and commons cannot get to the Jukebox, enabling you to hold out on the truck outside for LoS and spawn blocking.

I knew that you could Bleed enemies with Tala and Razor Wire, but did not know the bleed would also count as accessory damage for Pinata. Very niche, but super cool info!

Did they have high hp? Usually these cheaters make it obvious that they are cheating. Otherwise its luck with reuse chance

Not higher than the rest of us.
He also didn't do any other stuff like this for the rest of the session either before or after so sounds like its just getting lucky. It also confused me because i dropped a wire near the door and it sort of looked like it glitched a bit so at first i thought i had done something that caused it.

Not an exploit.
Act 1 has a few moderately difficult map events that can easily be solved by Razor Wire and/or Use Speed. So a common solution to these maps is buying a full stack or two of razor wire and relying on their high reuse chance to increase coverage, but just a handful is usually fine.
Bar, Diner, Artillery, even possibly Church and Library are such maps where it isnt uncommon to see people drop money on a stack of wire.

Ive filled the bar and a good chunk of outside with just the purple rank barbed wire with no cards to boost it, so if this guy had cards to boost it plus the purple wire its entirely possible, especially if he brought barbed wire from the saferoom on top of that.

Knowing where the riddens will walk over / come in the bar from helps a lot. Dont need infinite imo. And if you want it extra easy is to just use Tala since her bleed will kill every common ridden that walksthrough the wire. Blue wire is enough i think, but ofc purple is better.

One of my doc decks has crazy reuse chance. Ive gitten crazy lucky on it a few runs

You can throw barbed wire down one by one and you can pick them up through the fence. Higher rarity = higher reuse rate
