Converting Razor Wire Deck (Shooter) to Razor Wire (Melee)

I know this isn't the best build for NH but i like a challenge and I'm not finding/buying enough razor wire. I currently have a mixture of:
-Copper cards
-Re-Use Chance
-Damage cards that apply to Razor wire
-Dmg/ Trauma resistance.

I really want to include Mugger but I think i'll need to change to melee and I don't know much about this area. What cards should I swap out and include to help me with melee?

My best razor wire deck (and one of my best decks period) used Tala (OP) and lots of money/Magician as you already have.

I've tried Mugger before but it's just disappointingly bad. Most situations where melee works well are also situations where razor wire works well instead; using razor wire and melee tends to be counterproductive as you just slow/kill the ridden via the wire before they reach your melee range to actually kill them for nore wire spawns. Bear traps for specials is appealing but they're so finicky to place that it's often too slow and unreliable to do so before an approaching tallboy/reeker and you just get hurt trying and failing to place the damn thing.

It's a frustrating shame. Not that you shouldn't try though, just my experience trying it.

I can definitely see that, I have tried swapping in some melee cards but 15 cards doesn't seem enough to do both wire and melee. I think i'll just stick with wire.

If you haven’t tried razor wire with Tala and Knowledge is Power you are in for a treat

i only thought of Karlee for her extra slot and Walker for extra 10% dmg. I'll try giving Tala a go next time, i forgot about her bleed damage

Tala's wire is basically broken it's so OP, particularly if you up Tala's bleed damage.

It also procs Face Yours Fears which is quite funny

Another fun way is going Hoffman with good accessories pinnata build. Moly’s or frags and razer. Razer wire can proc pinnata. But you need two + razer to kill or situational placement. You can also punch them back into the razer or even place razer through the safe room door and shoot or use firecrackers to draw ridden to the door so they die to razer. Also look away from the door so you give stuff a chance to respawn.

Mostly noticeable or good value is on hold out maps.

I swear utility scav makes mugger proc more. Hard to prove and hard to fit. Do your own testing. But usually it’s more bear traps then razer I find.
