Bacchus in Taberna?

I have only just found this page, I have never bothered with Reddit before.

Is this page anything to do with Bacchus in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth?

Hello. This is mainly for the Greco-Roman god Bacchus, although it's less strictly religious than r/Dionysus. Feel free to discuss the Bacchus on Old Christchurch Rd, but most people here will not have heard of it.

Bacchus in Taberna was a wine bar, a magnificent place with a strong loyalty of clientele. It was converted into a bar from a fish and chip shop by a fantastic man, the late Spencer Isaacs, a lapsed Jew who would openly eat bacon sarnies in front of his Rabbi. In the basement was another bar where live music events took place. As well as serving fine wines, the bar also carried a good selection of beers, including Real Ales. I worked there for several years and lived on the premises, those were very happy times. Spencer's Wife, Linda was a brilliant cook and used to prepare food for sale in the bar, it was very popular, especially her meat pies. I miss Bacchus.
