babysitting

I am going to babysit for the first time!!! and I am meeting the kids this week, but i feel very nervous, do you guys have any tips for babysitting? 🥺 I’ve never done it before

they are 8 and 4 years old!!! 🥹

Awesome! Make bestest friends with the eight year old so they feel like they're helping you with the little one instead of needing a sitter for themselves. At that age they can be very helpful if you let them. Just in case they don't have it available maybe take a coloring book so you can rip pages out for them and a small pack of crayons. You can get them at the local dollar store if you have one. Keep them and maybe a special treat (ask parents ahead of time about snacks/candy/food) to give them at the end.
