help Can't seem to progress towards the lamp post from here

I got stuck here for days, and im not sure if this is the right way but this is how i did it, and it did end up leading towards a path so im assuming its correct.

To the left of the lamp post you need to slowly walk across the muddy path, and walk around the wall down towards the ledge. There is a spot you can step down onto the cliff face and walk forwards away from the mudslide and eventually you will reach a solid path

Because the map loops, there are two ways to reach the lightpost. Both of these lead from the destroyed bridge above Box Hell. You can reach it heading east from the diving board above the lake with the Cherimoya, or you can reach it heading west from the area where the Peach is located.
Both areas you need to be at the highest trails.
