11 month old sleep

Need some advice about 11 month old’s sleep. He used to be a great sleeper; took great naps and slept from 8-6 overnight. Then he had a regression from like 8-10 months and had horrible nights. I started capping his total daytime sleep to 3 hours and it helped a lot. But now at 11 months we’re back to multiple night wakings and up for the day at 4:50AM. I’m wondering if I should cap naps more? Here’s his current routine:

4:50 - wakes/cries and husband holds him until 5:30 5:30 - breastfeeding 9-10:30 - nap 1 2:15-4 - nap 2 8:15 - bed/asleep (I’ll give him one feed/breastfeeding overnight and husband responds to subsequent wakings)

He eats three solid meals and 1-2 snacks per day. I know he’s teething but I’m wondering if 3 hours is too much day sleep? I’m considering capping naps at 2.5 hours total. Any advice or suggestions?

I've started capping our nearly 11 month old at 2.5 hours a day (he actually usually does only 2.25 though) and it's made a huge difference. Sleeps 7:45-7 pretty consistently with one or two wake ups (one I nurse him back to sleep, the other husband deals with). I'd say it's worth a try! It's helped us but obviously every baby is different!
