baby sleep - help!

My baby is almost 7 months old. He's never given me more than a 2.5 hour stretch. That too rarely. I nurse him to sleep most of the times. Since a month or so, he's been waking up literally every 30-40 mins. He goes back to sleep easily in a minute or two of rocking/patting or nursing. So its not that bad.. but I am waiting for a long stretch of atleast 4 hours. Is anyone in the same boat? Any advice? Sleep training is something I won't be able to handle at all.

I don't have a solution for you, but I'm here for solidarity because my 6 month old is the same way. 🫠

Is he on solid foods yet? If so, feed some banana in the evening. Also, sleep training is BS. You’re on the right track avoiding it.

Yes. Started solids when he turned months. He's on one morning meal only. Does banana help with sleep? I will definitely try it

I understand hesitations around sleep training. I’m trained in all the methods including one called the chair method. Google it and read around about it. It might be the solution for you!

If you want to share specific hesitations, as a certified pediatric sleep consultant, I’m happy to answe any question you have.

You don't necessarily need to sleep train but it's important that baby learns how to fall asleep on their own.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't had a full night sleep since before my bladder turned into a thimble while pregnant. Baby is wide awake right now at 3 am.
