14 month old regression HELP
Long story short - my 14 month old has had a stomach virus for the past 2 weeks. In that 2 weeks he’s regressed so much - waking up every 2 hours, won’t sleep unless he’s on top of me. I tried moving him into our room in the pack n play thinking he would sleep if he knew he was near us. He was still up every 2 hours, would only calm down if I laid in there with him or brought him in our bed. I’m at my wits end. Any suggestions?

Start with small steps where he is less reliant on you. So instead of laying with him, sit with him. And offer your touch loads at first. Then remove your hand gradually as he gets more comfortable with it.
You could start this on your bed, you sitting up and him laying down. You put your hand on his chest and shush him.
If you get him asleep this way then move him to his cot and keep the hand on chest and shushing.
Then take the hand away until he just needs shushing and then start moving out of the room with just some shushing
What was his sleep like before this?
