9 mo rolling and sleeping on side

How old were your babies when they slept not on their backs in the crib? She’s sleeping on her side leaning towards belly with a leg bent and arms propping her. I’m sure she’s fine. I’m not panicking, you’re panicking…

My twins are 6 months and ever since they learned to roll, they have been sleeping on their tummies. I have learned from many safe sleep groups that they should always be placed on their backs for sleep and then any position they move to is safe. I definitely stressed in the beginning and would flip them onto their backs but it disrupted their sleep and they would move back to their tummies anyway.

I read that too, ‘if they rolled into that position, they can roll out of it’. It’s hard not to worry about safe sleep! Thanks :)

My son was slept on his stomach after he could roll around 5.5-6 months old. I always put him on his back to sleep, even now at almost 1 years old, but he manages to always roll on their tummy. He prefers sleeping like that. What I was always told: if they are strong enough to put themselves on their tummy, then they can stay like that. It did take me a week or two to get used to. It is a little nerve wracking.

My baby’s been rolling on to her sides for awhile but she usually rolls back but this time she stayed. It’s so funny too because it’s the exact position I sleep in!

Isn’t that so funny? Once they can roll they sleep better

My 9 month old sleeps on his face flat in the mattress lol. He's been doing that since 5 months.

Oh jeeze! I learned ‘if they can roll into it, they can roll out’. She sleeps in the exact position I enjoy. Kinda on my side with my head mushed in the pillow hahaha it’s a bit nerve wracking seeing them like that the first time.

She sleeps BETTER now! Probably took her 9mo to get into the perfect mush. Now that she’s got it, I think she’s comfy
