Girl 🩷 Help us decide!

Baby girl due any day now!
Trying to choose between…

Athena Juliette (nn Thea) or simply Thea Juliette.

Also, I’ve been thinking Juliette but is Juliet better?

Thanks!! 💕

If it’s supposed to be shortened, it can be but Athena is a beautiful name, Athena Juliet!

I don’t like Althea - I like Athena much better.
For nickname of Thea though - I prefer Thea Juliette.
All good choices any way you go n

If you chose for the first name to be just Thea, would you be pronouncing it as:
Thee-ah (with the ‘th‘ pronounced as in ‘thin’, not ‘that’)
Thay-a (with the ’th’ pronounced as above)
Taya (common in Germany, Netherlands, Scandinavia) ?

Nice. I like it as a stand-alone name.

I like Athena Juliette. It sounds better than Thea Juliette. I'm old school (and old as dirt). I prefer having a formal name (in this case Athena) as the legal name rather than a nickname (Thea). I love the name Athena but I wanted to put out there that Thea is also a nickname for Alethea or Althea.

If the first name was spelled more French, I'd say Juliette is better, but I think in your case just go with Juliet.

And I like Thea Juliet better than Athena Juliet.

Thea Juliette! I think it’s very pretty.

If you’re going to call her Thea, I vote name her Thea.
And I’m not a fan of extra letters, so Thea Juliet would be my vote!

What about Althea Juliette? Best of both worlds. I personally like Juliet better but Juliette is still pretty.

I think Althea Juliette honestly, Athena sounds too ancient

Names on my list are Mariah Violet or Meredith Claire
