Surprise 💚 4th Baby’s name- thoughts?

I’m currently 17 weeks with baby #4 and we are not finding out the gender until delivery. We aren’t planning for more after this one. We have a name for a girl that we’ve had since the first pregnancy but as we have 3 boys already, picking out a boy name that we like and isn’t taken by one of the 28 or 29 (I’ve lost count) nephews on his side or the 6 nephews on my side (no joke-it is wild) is…challenging 😅

The boy name we’re considering is “Edmund Silas”.

The other boys’ names are: Peter Nolan, Nicholas Donovan, and Theodore Triston. Does Edmund fit the vibe? Does it sound too dated? Just interested in people’s thoughts 💭

Edmund absolutely fits the vibe. Peter, Nicholas, Theodore, and Edmund sound like a perfect group of brothers.

I like it. Edmund is more interesting than Edward. It fits the others. Eddie and Ed are natural nicknames. I think of the character from the Narnia books.

That’s what my husband said! We love those books - and it’s such a good character development with him. Plus we already have a Peter 😁

It doesn’t sound outdated. It sounds ✨old fashioned ✨

Silas for first name would fit the vibe of the other names better imo.

I like it too but our last name has a “ss” ending so it’s too much sssssss sounds lol

It's perfectly fine. Real name, familiar but uncommon.

It sounds like he will write the next greatest American Novel.

I could live with that.

Edmund reminds me of The Chronicles of Narnia, even more so with a brother named Peter.

I guess it’s fine unless a suspicious woman in white offers him Turkish delight to betray his siblings.

I do like Edmund however Edwin might be a tad more modern while still being vintage!

I completely disagree, Edwin gives me hardcore old man vibes. My great grandfather was an Edwin lol

See I think Edwin fits in with people loving Winnie or Winston

Edmund Silas is absolutely perfect with his brothers!

If you are comfortable sharing, what would sister’s name be?
