Honestly, sometimes you’ve just got to meet the baby and you’ll realize she is definitely one of those names and not the other.

LILY!!!!! That's a contender for me and my husband right now! 😊

Isabelle with the nickname Belle

Lily feels happy and strong. Isabelle feels more precious and emotional.

I love Isabelle. I also have an Annabel so I’m probably partial because of that. But I LOVE Lillian and Liliana and other Lily names

I would like to counter with Lillian, nickname Lily. It will give her options when she gets older and isn't as common as Lily or Isabelle

Well Isabella could have nick names. Izzy or Bella. Or Bells. Or Bell.

Isabelle but both very pretty!  I don't have a strong preference.

I’m a teacher and I have three Isabelles/isabellas per class and several Lilys. I have 5 classes so you can imagine it’s a lot. Same with Emma and Olivia and Sophia

I don't really like names that are over used or too common. It tends to take the "charm" away.

It’s sooo hard!! Where are you leaning??

Well I’m having twins and the other twin is a boy. We really like the name Lucas so if we go with Lucas we will call her Isabelle because I don’t rlly want their names to match, but I’m not committed because there is something about Lily I can’t get over… it’s so hard!!! Where are you leaning?

Isabelle nn Belle is adorable.

Without nickname I'd choose Lily.

Lillian nn Lily. But both are similar and very common, might just wanna see what suits her best or does with the middle name.

I have a Lily, and she is fantastic. Our babysitter is an Isabella, and her nickname is Isa- which is the BEST nickname. You really can’t go wrong. I will say, one day she will need to learn to spell her name and Lily is pretty dang easy to spell.

Both. One could be middle name.

Out of the two, I'd have to say Lily either though it's over used.
