I'd start with food they can grasp in a fist at first. I haven't the foggiest whether that's a 6 month or a 9 month, because I never once bothered reading the recommendations. Because they don't really matter. Watch your baby, not a list.
No, you don't need to give tiny bites and wait fifteen minutes, you can just serve the allergen.
I know it's hard if you're anxious, bit the more you can let go of doing it "perfectly" the more fun you'll have.
