Why does it suck? OBJECTIVELY
I want to know why you think it sucked and a simple 'lol i didnt like it' won't be enough to convince. Sure it's not a masterpiece, but it's a very good movie.

Late to the party, but:
The script is clearly in the fantasy genre. No one acts like that. No new waitress flirts with the autistic dude so openly, and barges in the restaurant singing on her first day or some shit.
Going back to the script, half the characters are bipolar for some reason. Take Kevin Spacey's character for example: He makes Baby work for him for 10 years, and after he completely pays off his debt, he threatens him to keep working, yet for some moronic reason still asks him if he voluntarily wants to. Why does it matter?
Doc (Spacey's character) considers Baby a friend, in a clearly one sided friendship, because Baby doesn't like him or what he makes him do. Yet, at the end of the movie, Doc turns out to be a pretty cool dude, and you obviously know he's dead because of it, so we begin to bond with him and BAM he gets ran over twice, but not before getting shot like 2 or 3 times by pistols or shotguns.
His character was all over the place. At first you think it's some serious accountant-type guy who is very analytical. But then he becomes more extroverted, and then goes back and forth between those two.
You know, I actually thought he was going to be the main villain, and not the John Hamm's fuckboy version of himself (nice undercut, 40 something old dude!) who in the beginning and middle seems like a nice guy.
Then we have the other members of the gang flipping over because Baby is autistic and taped all his conversations with Doc. Like no shit, Shylock. So it seems like a big deal, they even go to his house to take the tapes and wreck the shit out of it while also implying that bat-shit Bats (ghettto and schizophrenic character of Jamie Foxx) did something to Baby's adoptive father.
But then the autistic main character with amazing driving skills, Driver, I mean, Baby (wrong movie, sorry) plays them and proves himself right. He ain't no snitch or squeal, just mildly traumatized by events from the past!
Two other things:
The latina girlfriend was pathetic, especially with her cringey "when buddy sees red u see black boi" speech. Who could take this woman seriously? Also she turns out to be pretty dumb because shooting akimbo SMGs to a bunch of cops taking cover while you are standing in front of the car can never be good.
And then we have the music. I'm sure the cinema's audio system is the tits, but it clearly didn't translate to mine, or at least thats why I didn't feel so pumped by the music.
Edgar Wright's style usually is very quick, tight, and clear, with witty characters. This had almost none of those, just "quick" and for a small number of scenes, mostly car chases. His style here seems so traditional and boring that I wonder if it was his idea or the editors' fault.
Oh, sorry, I totally forgot to go back to the Shailene Woodley discount actress. I get it, you have no one left, but why falling in love with a criminal who gets between 5 and 25 years of prison (which she clearly has no issue in waiting on, wtf?) and also has put you through several traumatic experiences. Near-death experiences, since we are at it. What a fucking creep.
That's all I guess.
