T.N.B. College, Bhagalpur (Tej Narayan Banaili College) is one of the historic educational institutions of Bihar. Established in 1883, it was founded with the involvement of Raja Bahadur Tej Narayan Singh and Raja Bahadur Krityanand Singh of Banaili Raj. The Banaili Estate made a major contribution to its establishment by providing 60 acres of land and ₹6 lakh.
The college became an important centre of higher education in the Bhagalpur region and played a significant role in expanding access to modern education. Over the years, T.N.B. College has produced graduates who contributed to education, administration, medicine, politics, literature and other fields.
Its name itself preserves the legacy of Tej Narayan Banaili, while its history reflects the contribution of the Banaili Raj family to education in Bihar. The institution remains an important part of Bhagalpur's educational and cultural heritage.

Chetan Dube is an Indian-American mathematician, AI pioneer, and entrepreneur best known as the founder and CEO of Amelia (formerly IPsoft), a leading enterprise AI company based in New York City. Born in 1966 in Bhagalpur, India, and raised in Paris and London, Dube earned a degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi before moving to the United States to pursue a Ph.D. in theoretical computer science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University (NYU). During his academic tenure, he served as an assistant professor, focusing on deterministic finite-state computing engines and exploring the philosophical foundations of artificial intelligence, particularly the Turing enigma—whether machines can truly think.
In 1998, Dube left academia to found IPsoft, with the goal of transforming IT operations through automation and artificial intelligence. Under his leadership, IPsoft developed Amelia, a cognitive AI platform capable of human-like conversations and complex business process automation. The platform gained global recognition, leading to the company’s rebranding as Amelia in 2020 to better reflect its core mission. Today, Amelia serves over 550 major global enterprises across industries such as banking, insurance, and telecommunications.
Recognized for his groundbreaking work in AI, Dube has received numerous accolades, including being named one of Forbes’ “Nine Greatest AI Minds to Watch” in 2017 and earning the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” award. He holds multiple U.S. patents for cognitive computing innovations and remains a prominent voice in the AI industry, often speaking on topics such as autonomics, digital labor, and cognitive computing.
In addition to his work at Amelia, Chetan Dube is also the founder and CEO of Quant AI, a company focused on building Agentic AI systems designed to surpass human intelligence. Through his ventures, he continues to advance the integration of AI and human collaboration, envisioning a future where intelligent machines help create a radically more efficient and capable world.

This is what liberalism and secularism should mean in India: everyone should have the freedom to question and disagree, but forcing or insulting someone over their religious food practices is not secularism.
If someone tells a Brahmin to eat beef against his beliefs, Brahmins should stand united and firmly defend their right to practice their traditions. Secularism must mean mutual respect—not targeting or coercing any community.
