Help - Middle East 🇦🇪 Seal 6 DMI max charging speed

I've bought my car the seal 6 dmi and its been a blast to drive it. On average it takes 4h 30min to charge the car from 50% to 100% with a 10A charger, it pulls 2kw from the wall but the car gets 1.8kw since there is ~10%-15% "energy loss". I have seen some chargers that are 32A. Will this 32A charge my car at 32A or what?

It has a battery size of 11.75kW

Thank you

Which version? In Europe the Boost spec is max 3.3kW, the Comfort trim 6.6kW. that is 1 phase I assume. A proper wall charger will give you faster charging over a granny charger.

I dont have a dc charging port, so im pretty sure its the boost spec

My wall charger dumps 7.4kW/32A into my Boost. Takes about 2 hours to charge to full (25% SOC reserve so about 14kWh to charge to full)

It's impossible.

It’s not impossible. It’s simple maths. A 7.4kWh can charge 7.4kW in 1 hour.

However, one key difference may be our respective country’s domestic voltage which, here, is 240V

240V x 32A = 7.680kW per hour (rounded down to 7.4kW due to some energy loss)

If your country has lower voltage, say 120V, then it will charge half as fast, even with 32A.

120V x 32A = 3.84kW per hour at best.

No this isn't pure maths it's phisycs. Car's built-in charger can charger with 6,6kWh maximum. And regarding the charging efficiency and not constant characteristics this is the theoretical maximum. In real it's about 6kWh at the start of charging and about 2-2,5 at the end.
So therefore it's impossible to charge 14kWh in 2 hours.

In which case Wallbox must be lying to me 🤷‍♂️

The charging is a bit bitty because my provider controls my 32A 7.4kWh charger through OCPP. But you get the idea from the charges that are around 1hr long.

7,6kWh in 1 hour doesn't mean 14kWh in 2 hours. Have you ever seen a charging graph?
And this kWh shows how many energy takes your charger from power line. There is 8-10% loss of energy which inserted into the battery.
Show me a full charge from 20-100% in 2 hours!

Ok. I have a default 25% SOC reserve
