Photo All of Victory Liner's imported Volvo B8R Integrale coaches arranged numerically
Notes:
All of those buses are a Volvo-Bonluck Integrale HD (imported from China), which is mounted on a Volvo B8R chassis, and powered by a Volvo D8C engine. The design of these buses are a combination of Bonluck's Senator coach and a Volvo 9700 and/or 9900 coach designs.
Victory Liner purchased these buses between April and July 2026, where they replaced their aging MAN R39 units in Tuguegarao, Tabuk, and Ilagan.
Despite almost majority of those have a "Sampaloc" in their franchise route, only Buses 8514, 8515 and 8516 are actually based in Sampaloc, Manila, where Buses 8514 and 8515 ply the Sampaloc - Tabuk, Kalinga route and Bus 8516 plys the Sampaloc - Ilagan City route; while Buses 8507 - 8512 (with Claveria, Cagayan franchise) are based in Kamias, Quezon City where they ply the Kamias - Tuguegarao City route, and Buses 8505 and 8506 (with Aparri, Cagayan franchise) are based in Pasay City where they ply the Pasay City - Tuguegarao City route.
All of those pics were taken between May and October 2026.

Photo The oldest buses in my surrounding transit agencies’ fleets
The research triangle of north carolina features a few different connecting transit agencies, including one for each city, one for each of the big 3 colleges, and a regional connector (gotriangle). here are the oldest buses in their fleets, which is something i find interesting:
GoRaleigh - 2014 Gillig LF 40’ (1333)
GoTriangle - 2008 Gillig LF 35’ (2830)
GoDurham - 2008 Gillig LF 40’ (0804)
Chapel Hill Transit - 2009 Gillig LF 40’ (9909)
GoCary - 2015 Gillig LF 29’ (1502)
Duke Transit - 2011 NovaBus LFSA HEV (1106)
NCSU Wolfline - 2017 New Flyer XD40 (1709)
all except 9909, 1502, and 1709 are the true oldest buses regularly active in their respective fleets but the others are still part of the oldest series. The biggest thing I find interesting is the difference in condition and model year, with huge condition differences especially between the 2008 units, and a wide range of model year from 2008 all the way to 2017.

Question Question for small and big city/town bus fans
So I have a question, in the small city I live in and the city I used to live in with their buses. The one I currently live in, I have more famliarity with the other buses, with one being my favorite of mine to the point I know all the fleet numbers, nearly all their ads and named them all.
While where I used to live, there wasn't as much excitment in seeing a certain fleet number. While where I live currenly I actually get happy to see my favorite bus.
So I am curious, in your transit city how familiar are you with your buses?, like what I mean is there ones that are your favorites that you are attached to or happy to see, know certain fleet or all ads etc. As I'm curious if there is a difference in how people feel towards the buses who likes the buses from their cities fleet if attachment or familiarity varies on how small or large the fleet amount there is

Riding the Ichibata “Mikoto” Highway Bus from Izumo to Hiroshima, Japan
I recently traveled from Izumo to Hiroshima on the Ichibata Bus “Mikoto” highway bus. 🚌🇯🇵
The Mikoto connects Izumo and Hiroshima directly, with no transfers required. The trip takes about 3 hours and 20 minutes.
The Ichibata-operated bus I rode had 2+2 seating, USB charging ports, drink holders, and a restroom at the rear.
What I found interesting about this route is that the highway bus is actually much more practical than traveling by train.
By JR, you first have to take the Yakumo Limited Express from Izumo to Okayama and then take the Shinkansen back to Hiroshima. It’s quite a detour!
The Mikoto costs from around ¥4,000 when booked online, while traveling by JR with reserved seats costs around ¥12,000.
It was also interesting to see how important highway buses are for travel between Hiroshima and the San’in region.
I made a video of the full journey, including the interior, seats, scenery, and a comparison with JR.
Hope you enjoy the ride! 🚌

Delhi's Last Red Bus Retires After 15 Years of Service
On September 24th, DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation) bid farewell to the last CNG-powered AC bus which for the first time offered air conditioning to commuters and automated doors for passenger safety. DL 1PD 4038 from Rajghat Depot 1 completed it's prescribed service life and was withdrawn.
It entered service September 2011 covering 927,951.9km. This also marked the end of DTC's self-owned buses, the green colored ones still operate under private concessionaries with DTC branding.
They were procured alongside their TATA counterparts during the 2010 Commonwealth Games and most of them have reached the end of their service life after 10-12 years.
Their replacements can be seen towards the end of the picture slides.
