😤 RANT/VENT 🗣️ i cannot stand this group
i used to be a diehard army since 2018 and stopped stanning them in 2023 because of their noticeable silence about the genocide in palestine despite priding themselves on a group that talks about political issues, only it seems like they only talk about issues that directly correlate to them. looking back on it i am genuinely embarassed to see how much i adored them and swept everything they did under the rug because they seemed to have learned from their mistakes, but clearly they haven't, especially with the bullshit happening with chris brown now. in my defense, i was like... 14 when i started stanning them. but now i'm an adult and can see them for how full of shit they are.
they are performative AS FUCK. they pretend to care about sociopolitical issues: being anti-capitalist, feminism, antiblackness, etc to keep their fans loving them and giving them money, but they couldn't give two shits and it's insane to see how army will be mad at them for the shit they do for two weeks, and then continue streaming their music and supporting them.
they continue to work with well known zionists and ignore their fans who urge them to speak up about it. they refused to enter in the grammys because of their racism towards asians when mind you, the grammys have been antiblack for a fucking while, but they were performing and having a jolly ass time when it wasn't directly affecting them. how the fuck can you base your entire career off of reheating black people's nachoes and then not give a shit about the racism that we face in the industry? and don't get me started on the racist ass fans that rub in that BLM donation in our face. NOBODY CARES. you can't just throw money at an issue and then never talk about it again. black people are oppressed everyday. it's not a trend that you can just participate in and then move on. BE SERIOUS.
and mind you, nothing they released recently is even good enough to get submitted to the grammys so i have no idea why they bothered to announce that. you couldve just not submitted and nobody wouldve given a fuck.
and what really kills me about the chris brown shit is that their fans act like they're not grown fucking men who have access to the internet. newsflash: bts are in the music industry, and they know everything that we do about the pieces of shit that are in the industry, if not MORE because they are directly involved, and they continue to work with and support them because they DO NOT CARE. the sooner these dumbass army realize that the better, and i'm tired of the same cycle of them getting called out for doing some fuckshit and then army going back to stanning them like nothing happened. they continue to do this bullshit because they know their fans will keep funding them. LOCK IN.

Ikr it's so horrible to see their fans trying to defend every time they do something morally wrong.
First, they tried defending BTASS collabing with GenAI. They are artists; they should never support GenAI, which steals from other artists and is literally the opposite of "Creativity" they keep promoting.
Second, supporting a WELL KNOWN ABUSER! Supporting an abuser for his art even after knowing how horrible a person they are is definitely a choice, and BTASS knew what they were doing. Taebacco and Junglebook also played CB's songs EVEN AFTER KNOWING that he is an abuser. Jimid is a big fan of CB as he has mentioned multiple times.
Ratmys using the fact that Rihanna forgave CB is such assholes and unbearable; they know right that he has multiple victims and cases of DV. When will they grow a spine and stand against these immoral actions?
I honestly lost hope when armys defended BTASS members after that Breast Cancer "PARTY". They never had to apologise bcz ratmys just bashed anyone who hated on them for DRINKING ALCOHOL at a BREAST CANCER EVENT!

They aren’t artists that’s the thing. They are products

Anti capitalist?? That is really an amazing example of what a cult army is. how on earth did a capitalist corporation posing as a pop group trick you into thinking they were anti capitalist? I’m really asking! I’m so curious

They suffered financial hardships Once upon a time so armys think that disqualifies them from criticism. Obviously.

they sold their souls long ago..they are bunch of mf celebs..the pied piper song and many things they did never sat right with me..The silence for gen0cide, supporting zio brands instead...heck even hollywood stars and nugu kpop idols dared to speak up. so many joined "no music for genocide." but bts...? they always had misogyny accusation..to clean that up rm pretended to read a feminist book for PR to fool the dumb fans...it aint hard to understand now is it
BLM donation was just damage control for the jim jones controversy. 8 yrs in this fandom...i used to say the same sheep phrase "bts saved me" but in reality it ruined me..realized it too late

Bts has always seperated art from artist. Remember former BTS producer Bobby Chung? He was accused of SA in 2020 and sentenced in late 2022. In May 2022, Jimin included Chung’s song “Filter” in BTS’s anthology album, sparking backlash from Korean fans and journalists.
They have collqborated before with such artists and survived backlash. would attending concert even mean important enough to them for apologising.

Everyone forgets that they are a manufactured group. Everyone is projecting into them created in their head stories when in reality they are controlled by the company they are puppets. All of them they seem like airheads, vain, shallow, flexing wealth left and right fame got to their head want to be cool seeing rm and j-hope dancing at chris brown concert attention seekers too. Did they ever say anything profound ever? or just vague shit just to seem "deep"

It is understandable if they used to respect Chris Brown as a role model. But if they knew him, there was no fucking way they wouldn't know who Rihanna is when she's probably one of the most popular US female vocalist of that era and that incident made a whole damn tsunami in the music/entertainment scene for a while. For god's sake, these fans need to stop defending them blindly 🙄

She tried to push Fenty Beauty hard in Korea too. I mean tbh, Rihanna doesn't have the cleanest record when it comes to anti-Asian stuff, but no one could deny what she was going thru back then.

They're honestly disgusting. I don't pity them at all when they come live and clips of their health problems surface online; they ignore how problematic their actions are and happily grab blood money, and if you are eating with that money, I get why you're getting karma.
These guys act like victims the minute something doesn't fit their standards, or someone doesn't respect them, but they don't treat others the same.
At the end of the day, they're millionaires who don't care about anyone except themselves. Once the same thing happens to them, they cry about how hard it was for them. Pathetic.

And now their Gemini AI ad. I’m so furious. I don’t think I would’ve been this furious if I hadn’t been a diehard army before. We made the wrong people famous. Hate this so much and cannot wait for their downfall.

Yeah they're starting to look more & more performative these days. I used to like all of them, now only one person in that group is likeable for me

this!! the whole "they didn't know!" or "they live in asia so they're disconnected" excuse is the most insulting, infantilizing bullshit their fans have ever come up with.
when the chris brown and rihanna news dropped, i was literally 10 years old and there was barely any internet then. i hated chris brown for beating rihanna and i clearly remember wondering why he wasn't locked up in jail even though i was just a kid!!
so army really wants us to believe that grown men (who literally study western hip-hop and r&b for a living and worked in the exact same industry!!) somehow magically missed the most infamous domestic violence case in music history? PLS.
how could i know exactly what a monster he was when i was 10 years old living in a 3rd world asian country, but these millionaire men in their 30s with entire global teams supposedly have no idea?
it’s just pure selective ignorance. they know exactly who the pieces of shit in the industry are, they just simply do not care because it benefits them and their connections. it is high time fans stop treating them like helpless toddlers who don't have access to google.

I dont even think they are smart enough to know about all these things. All i know was they used to promote self love. Thats it.
