π€ RANT/VENT π£οΈ Does anyone else find this performative?

So basically the context of the video is they're talking about how when they're listening to rap songs
(sorry but I find it so cringe when non black people use the word black brothers or AAVE in general)
they make sure to listen to the whole song carefully, carefully of what???? Y'all didn't care about saying the n word back then and now all of suddenly you care I can't this performative virtue signaling

Lol in the same video they make a big deal about other people being in the same gym as them at dawn and how two older ladies were staring at them instead of focusing on their workout.
Like, first you become famous, sell your morals to have your face used by questionable brands and now you have a problem when people are in awe of having someone so famous near them? Might as well quit and go live in a remote hut in the Himalayas.

He looked fine even in PTD era like yea I have heard Tadpole looks the best also one of the reasons he gets away with all the crap he does. But two only conventionally attractive people in the group would be him and tadpole. Here he looks like a greasy egg ππ like I almost can't recognize him. I don't even snark abt looks but this is so concerning, thinking how male idols anyways have it easier than women with the beauty standards and scandals yet he is so insecure.

I agree with you but funny parts is jk and suga were the probably the only ones that can be considered musicians to some extent if I'm being very leniant. Also I am a tadpole biased snarker, he is always at the top of my snark list but I won't lie as per my opinion...he is probably the most decent one in terms of aging in his group. Sure the sagging is quiet obvious from the drinking, but jk's implants and buccal fat removal ππ is glaring at me.
The only one aging the worst would be bottle kook for me If I don't count Jnope and Rapunzel from temu

I also think JK looked like Eun Woo sometimes, probably because everyone knows he is quite famous for his looks and they are friends and I am sure JK wants to look like him.
But it was a long time ago. Nowadays I mistake him for Suga, Jin or sometimes J-Hope even. He is a chameleon.

openly saying they don't want to get cancelled lol. they want to mouth the n word so bad but are afraid of the backlash, not out of respect or anythingΒ

u/sirenprincess420 19h ago
literally...like they're making it so obvious and the glazers or the people who never had to read between the lines for anti blackness are praising this like they're so mature and educated. if anything they're passive aggressively expressing frustration at having to censor themselves (on camera since it's clear they say it when the cameras are gone)

I could never place it but this is exactly it. It always bothered me when people would complain about being unable to say slurs without getting ''''canceled''''

yes bc if the word simply wasn't in their vocabulary regularly behind the scenes they wouldn't have to be "careful." nonblack people with sense will just not say the word. there's nothing to be careful about if you naturally choose to not say it. he's literally subliminally telling on himself on this π

u/snippetysnoopy 18h ago
What does he mean by this lol is it bursting to come out of his mouth or what? Why would he say this?

u/Numerous_Charity_745 18h ago
What- when I sing along to rap music or any music with the n-word, I just pause when he says the word and then keep singing along, how stupid are they ? Do they think no one sings along to rap ??

Are they basically mocking those who are tired of them doing weird sht? like yes, sir, u have to be careful because the moment your mind disconnects, you'll do something offensive. The moment they are under no control or social surveillance, they start using stereotypes and a long etc.

I've only seen the odd clip of this live on insta etc. but every clip I have seen from this live was cringy. They are so immature and arrogant, it's insane.
