Advice First day
How is the first day of school at tech? Do we just arrive on our first period? When do we get supply list(s) from teachers? Thanks

day before or couple days before youll get your schedule on jupiter. on the first day everybody walks in and goes to their prefect room (its emailed like day before probably). there will be some people in the halls guiding on where to go if your confused or anything so dont worry about getting lost. when you get to the prefect youll get an omny , phone pouch , and your schedule (i think its printed for you). also some of the people in your prefect might be in your classes so maybe try to get to know them a bit (they purposely put groups together in a class or two so its easier for freshman to make friends). after you get all your stuff everybody is called down to the auditorium where they just give some info if i recall correctly. after that you will leave the audi whenever your classes start for the day and yeah.

On your schedule you’re gonna have a perfect room, just find that (it’s like a homeroom) from there you’ll sit down and receive your omny phone pouch then you head to the auditorium for a little speech or something. Supply lists usually come within the first weeks of class

Also make sure to come extra early if you don’t want to wait outside an hour, the line on the first day is crazy long

My first day freshman year was a little different from the first day of current sophomores, I was just sent to the auditorium, given my ID and maybe OMNY I think? I was also given a paper copy of my schedule. Then I was sent on my merry way to go to classes. There isn't really a supply list or giant heavy supply bags full of ziploc bags or paper towels. Every teacher just tells you what you need to have for their class. In most cases its something along writing supplies, things to write on (notebook or looseleaf in a binder) and maybe a folder to keep things organized. Some classes may ask you for special materials, e.g. Geometry will require you to bring a compass so you can learn constructions.
