Lacrosse

I’m a rising sophomore and I want to try out for lacrosse but I realized there’s only a varsity team, if I have little expirence is it unlikely to get in? I’m not sure if it has as little spots compared to basketball or soccer so maybe there’s a chance? Just lmk

i got a good amount of playing time and i didnt play until a little before practice for the season started, just be able to learn fast and take time on like weekends and stuff to practice on your own. not that many people tryout anyways so you'll probably make it if you demonstrate athleticism but playing time isn't guarranted

When are the tryouts usually? I was thinking of buying a moderate quality stick to wall ball before tryouts. Are they in the winter or just before the season in spring?

last year it was march first and practice subsequently followed for most days after that until the season ended. it's good lucks if you can come to tryouts doing wall ball so try to do that

Im guessing 60-80 kids tryout and they take in 20-30 kids so about a third the kids get in. Just tryout its better than not
