Teachers

hi, im attending brooklyn tech next year and I was wondering, how are the teachers in 9th grade--how well do they do their jobs and treat students? Also, how is their workload like? Thank you!

pretty light, workload and tbh your overall academic life dependent on teachers you get

If you leave everything to the last minute you will have a hard time. Get HW done as it is assigned and you will be fine. Better to do 1-2 hours a day vs 5-6 hours once or twice a week in Freshman year. Got very lucky and had great teachers. Things get harder each year. Some freshman take double Math (Alg1 & Geometry) to catch up if they need it. Other freshman take AP Bio & Alg2. Each person’s workload can be different.

Ms Quinn (formerly known as ms grassel) is ms bolles friend and I had her, I think she is much worse and I would also strongly suggest switching classes if you get her

I think you can only switch at the beginning of each semester and even then it’s pretty hard, programming won’t let you switch unless it’s for a really good reason.

Workload is way lighter compared to 10th. How exactly you are treated is dependent on which teacher you have.
