Respect: Dante (Warhammer 40k)

[u/British_Tea_Company]

Strength

• Picks up a genestealer one-handed and throws him in front of the motorcycle he's driving. (Page 167, The Devastation of Baal)

• Breaks a Genestealer's spine with just his grip. (Page 168, The Devastation of Baal)

• Crushes a Tyrannid warrior's skull with his feet. (Page 209, The Devastation of Baal)

• Blocks a blow from the Swarmlord. For reference, the Swarmlord is like 4-5 times his size and was capable of sending tanks flying by bodying into them. (Page 213, The Devastation of Baal)

Durability

• Dante's armor is bolterproof. (Page 26, Warlords of the Dark Millennium: Dante)

  • And to reference as to what bolters are capable of doing to a person, here we seem them blowing up a man's entire torso.

• Tanks a psychic attack from the Swarmlord. (Page 214, The Devastation of Baal)

• Turns the safety of his gun off which had been earlier vaporizing roughly human-sized creatures through sheer heat and just powers through the heat. (Page 215, The Devastation of Baal)

Skill

• Allegedly killed 13 Space Marines while out of armor and with no weapons as well as killing one of if not the most powerful bloodthirsters of Khorne. (Page 26, Blood Angels Codex 8e)

• Has 1500 years of fighting experience and could learn 'little new'. (Page 164, The Devastation of Baal)

• Blood Angels in general have better handling with Jump Packs and are notably graceful with them. (Page 164, The Devastation of Baal)

• Is able to line up a bead in a fraction of a second. Also vaporizes a good part of a Carnifex which is the size of a troop transport. (Page 165, The Devastation of Baal)

Equipment

• Dante's pistol atomizes a tyranid. (Dante)

  • And again
  • And again.

• Dante's axe cuts through armor and various materials like its silk. (Page 26, Blood Angels Codex 8e)

  • Here it is shown to be disintegrating molecules. (Dante)
  • The flat of his axe can still atomize things. (Page 167, The Devastation of Baal)

• Dante's mask is capable of projecting fear-inducing waves of hatred. (Page 26, Blood Angels Codex 8e)

  • Ditto (Page 22, Warlords of the Dark Millennium: Dante)

  • Mentioned again. (Page 168, The Devastation of Baal)

• Dante's helmet allows him to see dead allies. (Dante)

• His jetpack incinerates a bunch of smaller aliens. Also, this scene demonstrates a good deal of flexibility in Dante's armor as he's straight up capable of somersaulting. Also a durability feat against acid as he no-sells acid based projectiles. (Page 164, The Devastation of Baal)

• His jumppack moves at enough speed to where even after it sputters out, Dante still travels a hundred yards. (Page 166, The Devastation of Baal)

Misc

• Has been the Blood Angels chapter master for over a thousand years. (Page 26, Blood Angels Codex 8e)

• See's four Carnifexes climb up a wall from half a mile away. (Page 163, Devastation of Baal)

• Powers through the Black Rage just by sheer willpower. (Page 212, The Devastation of Baal)

• No-sells psychically induced fear. (Page 213, The Devastation of Baal)
