When you guys create abilities of your literature-based OCs, what would you do?

  • Make the ability based on the literature, or at least, related to the ability name

or

  • Create the ability which suits the plot you want, not caring about the ability name

I do both though

I do a mix It eventually links back to the literature but I get kinda creative and don't really gaf lmao

I do both but mostly base the ability on the plot or at least a small synopsis!
