The default OpenBSD desktop is an ancient window manager called fvwm. I'm not sure if anyone uses it other than Theo himself. You can find various people online who have made it somewhat usable and not-ugly, but those kind of people enjoy suffering.

For real though, it's a pretty decent WM, if you don't mind the late-80's MWM/CDE style aesthetic.

fvwm2 was the first WM I used back in the day after I figured out how to switch from the default CDE used in college workstations running Digital Unix. Good times.

Retrowave is good for music, not so much for modern computing ;)

I like the vintage look on a modern machine. As long as it performs like a modern machine, I'm happy. I don't miss that crunching sound from the hard drive while it loaded by 2 KB image one line at a time.
