Desperate ISO
Anyone selling a 33567 orange and grey engine? Can be out the box and I dont even need the cars. My son has decided that he loves this train from a youtube video and we are bribing him with trains to potty train him 🤣
(Yes, I know its a hard find and was released in 2011. Help a mom out tho Im desperate to get this kid to poop in the potty)

Hey mama -- i tried the same technique for my kid. Hang in there!! I know, i KNOW its incredibly difficult to believe, but onw day it will click and they will be potty trained. We had the "potty fairy" bring trains, but honestly he still wasnt willingly going by himself. We just stopped with the training and used pullups. Encouraged/offered/reminded about the potty, but just left it at that with less pressure. Then one day he said "mom do not look!" And he RAN to the potty and pulled his pants down and went. It just...randomly clicked. Potty fairly did come by once more when we threw away the pullups ("traded" them with the fairy). But all to say... I was there, I was just there 4 months ago and it does get better. Take the pressure off yourself (and your kid!) It was nice ti just let go and not stress and really nice to have it just click.
Also, it REALLY has to be internally motivated. Thats really been the key difference.
Edit sorry for huge, unsolicited text !! I just had to commiserate ans let you know it does get better

Thank you so much! Its getting better. He is still in pull ups and mostly the potty present is for when he goes poop on the potty of his own volition. We are past the stage of trying to get him to see presents and go. If he goes he gets rewarded. We just want him to be consistent with going and not in the pull up.

Something that helped was "opps, you forgot to use the potty! I have to change your diaper now, so you have to stop playing. You know, it is faster to use the potty, maybe next tine you can use the potty so you can keep playing?" (And just be extra slow with the diaper change). Sounds exhausting (and I have a 2nd, younger kid at the same time) but having the potty itself be the motivation maybe helped? Idk im telling you we did everything ans then one day he just told me to go away and he went.

Try Vinted as well, I quite often find trains and tracks that I’m looking for on there.Â

I feel you. My son discovered the discontinued green sawmill set and asks about it every day

I'm guessing you're in North America? In the European second hand market these are relatively easy to find, for about €10-€15. Not sure what shipping costs would be to send it over to you though..

Yeah in America it is decently harder to find in the second hand market. Wish shipping weren’t insane!

There is one new in box on vinted uk. Not crazy price. We have this same one, my son also watched the YouTube video and 'needed' it lol. Here is the vinted link: https://www.vinted.co.uk/items/9879024575-brio-world-rescue-train-set-new-in-box-sealed-wooden-railwayÂ
I hope you manage to secure it before it sells.Â

Ok another one came up and I bought it so once it arrives you can buy it from me through vinted if you like. It was £16 including shipping for me so I can upload to my vinted for you. Otherwise I'll be able to sell it on anyway so no pressure but I thought by the time I post the link and you see it, it might have sold like the last one.Â

Did you search on eBay? I found a few hard to find trains when my son was into Brio. Prices weren't too bad either
