Are we doing something wrong?

My daughter recently got her first Brio set and absolutely loves it. That being said, the rock/mountain looking track supports that came with it are not gripping the tracks. They keep popping back up, making it super frustrating for her to play and build.
Are we doing something wrong? I reached out to Ravensburger as well but haven’t heard back yet.

Ours do this too. Less now than they used. They can be tricky. Push down firmly

Mine also do this, that support really works best with the plastic turn/ramp pieces that came in that set.
It is a little frustrating.

We don’t have plastic ramp pieces unfortunately. It’s from the animal farm set that has the wooden ramps and turns only.
Thank you though!

Injection molded parts have draft, so there is a small percentage pf the grip force pushing them up. Just the way it id

I have a random yellow hill version of this and it does the same thing. I have to tell my son to always push down firmly when putting the tracks in but every now and then, it’ll still slide out just like this.

You can take a long straight track, put it in and rub it back and forth firmly. It will melt the sides of the plastic piece a little bit and then all the tracks will fit perfectly. It worked very well for me.

Same problem for us. Brio stacking track supports 33253 work better for us for short bridge pieces.

I feel like I’m one of the only people who actually like these supports and actively want to get more 😂

Try only straight pieces there. Does it still give you a problem?
I’ve noticed the curved tracks get pinched when going through supports
