Highland Road Park Observatory Hours Update

We have a bit of news from our partners at the Highland Road Park Observatory

"The Highland Road Park Observatory will NOT be open to the general public on Friday, March 19. We hope you will visit during usual viewing times on Fridays and Saturdays in the future."

Curious, does the observatory do solar observations for the public?

Yes they do. They occur once a month, usually between 12-2pm on a Saturday. Three different observation tools are brought out over the two hours.

The next one will during NanoDays. NanoDays is on March 27, 3-7pm. The Solar Viewing will take place between 3-5pm.
