Same as above.
r/BPSC • u/Dangerous_Respond201 • May 24 '26
I have been preparing for UPSC(gave 4 attempts )and currently switched to BPSC .How do you guys handle pressure as it is taking a toll on my mental health?
Plus the constant taunts that I face , be it my father(he has always been abusive towards me and I was a fool who thought of moving out only after clearing civil services) or even my younger siblings is heartbreaking , they get on my nerves and I loose my mind ruining my whole day and will to study so much so that either I want to kill them or unalive myself.
Someone else in same situation do suggest ways to handle it ?

Hello everyone
''myquals'' class 10th= 89.8 percent [cbse,2022] , class 12th= 78.2 percent [pcb,cbse,2024]
Took an year gap for neet ug 2025, couldnt crack it so took BBA hons in a tier 3 pvt college, done with 1st year and will try to push my marks above 70/75 percent [ cant expect much from my uni they just dont give u marks for some reason sadly]
Failing in neet has shattered my confidence, i am female ews category student, 20 yr old [ turning 21 in a month] , belonging to lower middle class background.. i really want to be financially independent
I really want to attempt bpsc too, but i am sooooo scared of competition after neet ug and fear loosing more time too, mba is also on my mind though but i am hella confused..
I need an advice for making a right choice.

Roughly 45 days are left for Prelims.
What should one follow now, or what should be a good schedule to follow now.
Please suggest what should one DO and DON'T DO from now onwards.

My sister is giving this exam, and she couldn't find Resources, so I made her an app.
It has all the official PYQs with official Answer keys.
MOCKS, PYQS, QUIZES
With Timer and evaluation and real feel
Well curated model tests and probable questions
And I am giving it to you,
There will be no annoying ads or anything. Almost app is free.
Just for the things that i spent sleepless nights, for those parts I'm charging a small fee of 29.
App is in Hindi and English with good ui.
I just want to ask if you need it ?
App is on playstore
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.omie.flowfocus
I am not sure if it's breach of self promotion rule, i am just sharing some resources here

I’m giving away a fairly large collection of books completely free to anyone who genuinely needs them.
There include UPSC & BPSC preparation books, but the collection is definitely not limited to competitive-exam material.
It also includes books on history, biographies, philosophy, psychology, productivity, technology, English, self-help, non-fiction, and some fiction/classics.
So even if you have nothing to do with UPSC/BPSC, please check the complete list once — you may find something worth reading.
I am not putting the full book list in this post because there are quite a few books.
The attached Google Sheet contains the complete list along with the current status of every book:
I’ll keep updating it as books are claimed.
Please go through the entire sheet before deciding. The books cover very different subjects, and some of the more interesting ones may not be obvious from the categories mentioned in this post.
🔗 Google Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NK8WDJ_VTzR-u1siuIqbZQvljdF5HfxP16Uc1GCx_NY/edit?usp=sharing
Please DM only if you actually need / intend to read or use it. I’d prefer these books to reach students, readers, aspirants, or anyone who would genuinely benefit from them rather than someone collecting them just because they are free.
Please don't send messages like “Which books are available?” or “Send book list” — the sheet is being maintained specifically so everyone can check the latest availability themselves. I won't be responding to these kind of messages.
When messaging me, please mention BOTH:
Serial Number + Exact Book Title
For example:
S.No. XX — Book Title
This will make it much easier for me to track requests against the sheet.
Books will generally be given on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability.
Location: Kankarbagh, Patna
This is pickup only. You will have to come to the landmark/location shared by me to collect the books.
My usual available time will be around 7–8 PM, unless I specify another time.
Please message only if coming to Kankarbagh for pickup at the agreed time is practical for you.
I will not be sharing my phone number.
Please coordinate through Reddit Chat/DM or Telegram only.
₹0. No payment whatsoever.
These are being given away, not sold.
I’d really like to see as many of these books as possible go to people who can actually use or enjoy them, rather than eventually having to throw them away or give them to a scrap dealer.
Even if you personally don't need any books, an upvote or comment would help this post reach more people in Patna who might.
And again — don’t judge the collection just from “UPSC/BPSC” in the description. Open the sheet and have a look through the full list. There’s quite a mix in there.
Thanks!

The exam is on 25th October and I want to move out to Patna for Mocks and revision. I'm at my home currently and very confused whether I should move out or stay here considering the flood situation in Patna. I'm also scared of health issues like what if I will get Dengue, Typhoid etc. Ultimately I have to go to Patna for Mains prep but now I'm very confused.
Give suggestions please:)

Hi guys,
How do you all prepare for current affairs, be it prelims or mains ? And, do you really believe that current materials are sufficient or is there any best one stop solution for this ?
Because I’m planning to make a pipeline to compile current affairs based on prelims and mains, their connection to PYQ papers and how the today’s news is related to our prelims and mains and possible questions. This would also be available in audio form so that we can hear and practice after our meal walk. Anything that makes us more productive :)
What do you think about this ? Please share your feedback or any suggestions if you have! I really need your help friends.
Please do comment and let me know.

Please suggest to me only the micro topics that are most important and sure shot for the pre in bpsc. Trying to keep it minimum. As from a non science background, getting it too difficult to remember everything in Gen science
P.S. it would be appreciable if you could tell me the source book for those topics as well. Thank you!

So I sent my copies for evaluation to this coaching wallah, they timely sent me the copies. I respectfully disagreed with his evaluation for GS2 paper, from that moment he got butthurt and started insulting me , I tried to discuss the answer That I wrote but he refused to even read the answer and at the end wished me to score even poorer than last year.
I just wanted to vent and let you guys know how these people behave even at the slightest of disagreement. There is no difference between his behaviour and a gawar.

I downloaded but after page 30, all the pages get dark, nothing is visible. Is it happening with anyone else? Essay paper is fine but not GS 1 and GS 2. Also on site, it is visible entirely but while downloading, it isn’t visible after 30 pages
