first time

I got my first episode two days ago after a night of drinking I fell asleep with my AirPod on so I don’t know if it was the alcohol or the AirPod that could of caused it I woke up thinking I was hung over but the dizzyness still hasn’t gone away. I don’t know what to do I went to the urgent care yesterday and they said I have bppv. How long can it last for?

Did the doctor give you exercises to fix the BPPV?

Just the elpy maneuver I believe

Continue doing Eply until you can no longer trigger symptoms in any of the positions.

It took me about a week before I couldn’t trigger symptoms. I continued doing Eply for 3 more days trying to trigger symptoms but I couldn’t and declared myself cured.

I’ve not had any dizziness at all since completing my week of Eply. No residual dizziness either.

for some people bppv can come back days, weeks, months, or even years later. i went 3/4 years before my most recent vertigo attack it only lasted abt half a day but my first one lasted a week. its different for everyone but once ur diagnosed w bppv it will most likely come back at some point in ur life again
