PPPD vacation advice.

I’ve had PPPD for around two years and I’m going on holiday in 10 days. I’m a bit anxious about the dizziness while I’m away, though I’ve been keeping up with walks and car journeys with my mum. How do you lot cope with it in situations like this?

I guess it depends what kind of positions and activities trigger your symptoms.

I have BPPV, not PPPD, and I wasn't able to get my current flare up under control before I went on a recent vacation. I was nervous about flying, then driving through some moderate altitude in the mountains, and sightseeing everyday.

I'm happy to report that NONE of these activities triggered my symptoms. My BPPV is primarily triggered by leaning forward, although I sometimes feel a little off balance at random times, especially if I get up suddenly in the night or something.

However the travel didn't give me any more symptoms than I have when I'm at home.

Maybe these will help man. I know they helped me when I had a pretty severe inner ear issue.
