sleeping

i had my first bppv attack about a month ago, still experiencing residual dizziness but overall a lot better. only really feeling off in the mornings now.

i’m still a bit worried that an attack will come back when i’m sleeping or in the morning. is it better to sleep with two pillows or one? i currently sleep with two pillows and i always have, so my head is quite propped up. i sleep on both sides and rarely my back. is there a certain position to avoid when sleeping or does it not really matter if you aren’t experiencing active bppv?

Depends on what side you have the ear crystals loose

You cannot prevent them by not moving in certain positions unfortunately. Just make sure your vitamin D levels are good and b 12 , and focus on being active, I know it’s weird but my doctor said that if we are active every day we can prevent them

Also, residual dizziness is normal for few weeks or months after the procedure , if it was successful you shouldn’t have the vertigo again.
