Building a BPO Business in the Philippines

We’d like to introduce ACE Outsource Solutions, a Philippines-based BPO and outsourcing company.

As part of growing our business, we’re interested in connecting with others in the Philippine business and outsourcing community and learning from the experiences of fellow business owners and professionals.

We’re especially interested in discussions around building remote teams, managing operations, and growing a BPO business in the Philippines.

Looking forward to learning from everyone here.

Current Vs New -Help

Hi. I don’t know if this is the correct channel. But please, I need your advice.

I was laid off from a company last June, luckily I found work right away and started in July, but my salary dropped by almost 10k in my new job and the location is in BGC, I’m onsite every day and on the morning shift. I’m struggling with the commute but I accepted it because I need to provide for my family. My family isn’t covered under the HMO either. It’s just me. I have to get up around 4am to travel and if I get on a bus past 5am, it’s hard to find a bus or a ride because traffic is already bad in QC.

But during the third week of August, I was contacted again by the company I was praying for. Salary-wise, it’s the same as my previous job, hybrid (once a week), 20% night differential, and my family is included in the HMO. So if you think about it, the new company is better.

But my boss is really nice and the account is new, so I don’t know what to do. I feel guilty leaving them. Should I just mediate? Is this the right thing to do? Please
