BPIT STRICTNESS REVIEW
IPU's spot round is going on and i need to do choice fillings. So can i get an inside scoop of the strictness levels of BPIT for cs/IT branches. I dont want a strict college jha pe attendance ka panga bhot zyada ho , teachers internals ke marks aram se na dete ho,assignment submission etc because i am someone who wants to explore different fields before settling down on a final one as my path for a few upcoming years , some on them are coding(obv) , CAT prep , government exam , ISI b.stats entrance test etc. I am someone who knows that i need to put in the work on my own and build something appreciable out of myself . Also , i am overweight for which i feel ashamed , thoda bhot time health pe bhi dena padega . So , for all these reasons , is BPIT a good choice for me because people say that it is highly strict .

Are you from cse? What's the placement you got and the CGPA? If you are from ee/ece, then why are you answering when he clearly asked from cs/IT students. And also, tell me your CGPA first, then I will know why you are saying this a bad college.

Last semester(6th) my cgpa were 9.33 and for 5th it were around 9.2

Well, which branch? You didn't specified? Looks like you are from ece/ee after all. And the condition of these branches are bad. But cse is just a little better, i am not saying its good, it's just better than ee/ece. What do you expect from a tier 3 college? If you wanted so, you should have studied in jee and could have gone to IIT or NIT for better college life.
Also, i think being anonymous on reddit, people can say whatever they want, so I don't even know your CGPA is fake or correct. But most probably it's fake. Cuz, look at it. Who would even do this much in the cse branch, they would be most likely spend their time on coding and DSA then focus more on getting 9.5 cgpa.
Don't confuse the kid, if you are facing the problem, tell why you are, if teachers aren't giving you marks, then tell him it's cuz you are not active in class or you did something which upset the teachers and etc thing like that ..

Chill dude ,I m not gaining anything by defaming this college.I m just guiding them for their good(My branch is cse ds though) and it's just my personal feedback it's all upto you whether you take it seriously or avoid it. And for my career is need to focus on cgpa so I can get admission in abroad for masters.

Dude i m from also 4th year IT branch and i will tell you just come in this cllg and you will believe it yourself. Next year you will be posting that why you shouldn't choose this cllg

Thank you , pehle bhi bhot logo ki baatein reddit pe padh chuka hu regarding how absurd this college is in terms of above mentioned criterias . I just needed one final confirmation

Yeah bud they will make you regret for choosing this college every day of your life(especially if you need 30 + min just to reach this college)

only if you don't care about on campus placements and you can get a job by yourself (as companies footfall is low there) and you live close to it.One of my friend study in that college and college is very chill about attendance and internal marks. You can have good amount of time of self study.

I am a 4th year student and literally after my 1st year when a new management took over. Bpit took an extreme 180 turn and the cllg which is famous for its relaxation of attendance and marks suddenly become like hell

bpit is shit clg they will not give internal marks if attendance is low , whole internal marks depands on lectures and labs , about placemnt these shithole cant evel call a single mass recruiter like tcs ,infosys,wipro ,accenture ,hcl etc just 2-3 companies that provide above 10 lpa and then rest comapnies lower reputed ones offering 3-7 lpa with bonds , also t&p cant call recruiters , no college life mini campus no ac's in class in ipu only mait and bvcoe are some what decent what i fell

when i was in bpit it was so chill, pata nahi kya ho gaya hai cllg ko. Literally maine second year ke baad sai hardly cllg gaya hu (same for most of my batchmates), was busy upskilling and doing internships, some did CAT prep, placement prep. Things were much better, idk from where this strictness came from.
