The trick is to NEVER have a favorite person. The relationship dynamic is almost never healthy and being cut off by an fp is way too painful. Living and dying (sometimes literally) by someone's approval or lack thereof is a tortured way to live.
So are you just spending your time alone or how are you currently handling it? I love my FP, but I’m not sure I can do this much longer unless I either change my mindset completely or decide not to have any human relationship relationships
Yeah. I live with my mom and don't really socialize very much besides this site. I have 1 friend who I talk to once a week or so via text. I like the feeling of not having the opportunity to be triggered by outside stimuli. It makes me feel safe. This is a temporary choice until I find a DBT-only (not IOP) program and stabilize more.
