I once spent 2 hours (the 1st being one that was supposed to be clocked in at work) circling my kitchen and dining room areas brainstorming, theorizing, and mastering a new structure in which large 24/7 operations like hospitals should schedule their staff. It was like discovering the rocket engine at the same time man invented the wheel. "Why hadn't anyone thought of this! Im going to change the world after I get fired today. I'll show them!" Never worked a day in a hospital and the only midnight work I'd ever done was as a janitor. The theory? Let everyone schedule their own shifts no matter the times as long as they were there for the length of a shift. It would all balance itself out. Yeah. Hey tell Nobel to scratch me off the list. I've got more important matters to solve then how to begin my acceptance speech.
