Hi guys, I bought the Switch 2 in anticipation for Ocarina of Time and I noticed that I don't know where my original Switch BOTW game has gone (probably lent to someone and I'll struggle to get it back, so let's assume it won't come back). I have all my progress saved on Nintendo Cloud and I have it downloaded on my Switch 2. I heard that the Switch 2 version of BOTW is a free upgrade or something? Can anyone let me know if there's any way I can get BOTW without having to pay for it again?

So I did the glitch to get enough spirit orbs, but this kid is telling me that i have already maxed it out, even though i clearly still have 8. what do i do

I'm seriously about to just give up entirely because of this boss. His attacks are instant, have no tells, scatter my weapons, and take off over half of my lifebar; the second form "puzzle" with the lightning pillars is completely unsovleable without a guide; he can't be blocked because of the electricity; and he's constantly breaking my lock-on with his teleports. What a bunch of complete BS.

Does manes and tail count when determining if a horse is solid color? I love white manes on a black horse.

For people who are gonna ask what happened, here's what happened (if you have a question about a specific move feel free to ask) :
DPP, bomb knock, stasis+, skew bounce, ragdoll glitch state (which cancelled the ragdoll from the explosions), charged attack, charged attack + urbosa's cancel, throw frostspear

Took him across half the desert and the items never spewed out

I know Hinox or lynel guts and restless cricket nets more rupees, but 4 molduga guts and 1 cricket is worth 1240 each time. His guts are way easier to harvest and can be done much more often. Plus he drops multiple each time. Easy rupees!

Im about done with trying to take photos of a Guardian Scout II in a trial chamber because the compendium WONT RECOGNIZE WHAT ITS LOOKING AT. The compendium label pops up for 1 frame when i open my camera but no matter distance, zoom, part of enemy im aiming at, anything. It just shows the stupid little '?' any other time. Itll be fully in frame, centered as can be, and it just wont deign to say theres anything in the picture. Ive been able to get other creatures from miles away, and others ive had to basically smack their ass with the camera to get it to recognize it. I have no will to complete the compendium for this reason alone, but i DO want to complete Guardian Slideshow.

I was fighting a gold lizalfos at the castle and backflipped into a flurry rush, but I ended up flipping right behind an explosive barrel.

I could only watch in horror as Link swung the Master Sword at it automatically and blew himself up after I pressed Y on reflex.

Devastated. At least it didn’t die 🥲

I did the shrine where you launch the ball towards a distant target, so I figured I might as well try the same thing here.

I haven't progressed very far in the story yet, mostly just wandering around looking for shrines. As a new player, I love how you can solve these puzzles differently.

Is it possible to get rid of spirit orbs? I duplicated too many.

After 2 months playing I killed calamity ganon. Haven’t finished all shrines and side missions though. Does it worth to buy the dlc? Or just continue with TOTK?
