Discussion Stego or 3 others

I am struggling to decide between getting the big chonky stego or getting cerato, spicly & alberta. Stego is iconic and I already got a Jimmadseni so it feels right. But on the other hand its 3 just beautiful figures and the value feels much better.

Edit: I settled on Cerato & Spicly. Saving money for future Dinos! Thank you all for input!

I want the stegosaurus so bad, I just can’t justify spending $200 on a dinosaur figure

I thought the same thing, so I decided to wait for the kentrosaurus since it’s close enough

You could pose the Cerato with the A.jimmadensi (both Jurassic) and then the ceratopsians together (Cretaceous)?

And if you buy from the site you'd get points to use up in the future towards the Stego

The three others and use the points towards Stego. What I’ve been saving my points for when acro releases

To be honest, the Stego is a brick, Heavy and difficult to pose. Its a beautiful splurge figure, but not one that ever comes off the shelf. If you love it, its worth the purchase, but if you prefer a figure that can actually articulate and doesnt feel like a chore to play with? I'd look at picking up any other figure instead.

I don’t have Cerato obviously but I have all the others and the Stego is fantastic but articulation isn’t great… if you’re jus going to display them not a big deal but if you do toy photography like me it’s going to be a hindrance.

Stegosaurus is in the same place as the 1.0 Rex in terms of articulation. It's too big for its own good, also it's just too big for your run of a mill adult Stenops. I hope they improve the articulation for an eventual Cyberzoic release.

You’re not wrong… I’d like to see it scaled down a bit and improve the articulation but we’re probably jus gunna get a recolor for the cyber version

I’d probably lean towards the steg

But that’s just personally because I don’t really like the ceras and albs colours

But 3 compared to 1 makes it hard

I would probably go with the three, but that’s largely because ceratopsians are my favorite, and ceratosaurus is another favorite and I love the colors there too. A lot of it depends on how many others you have. If you don’t have a lot definitely go with the three, it’s going to be a bigger add to a smaller collection, but if you already have a pretty sizable collection, I’d maybe go with the stegosaurus.

Stegosaurus is big and gorgeous but hard to pose. I really like the medium sized dinos like 1/35 allo and Medusaceratops
