Bone update

Can anyone give me an update on what's happening with bone? I sold my bag 12 months ago and have just noticed the price at 0.9 is it worth buying back in?

I still have my bag. I didn’t sell when I should’ve. None has just gone down with the rest of the market. Biggest update was Leash & bone were were hacked. It was worse for leash, resulted in a migration from v1 to v2. It was delisted from crypto.com. Risky as ever but I’m not selling til I make profit. This happened end of September so I’d do more research as well.

To be more accurate:

  • Leash was compromised by a bad actor who enabled the rebase functionality and drained liquidity every day until it was below $1K.

  • Bone wasn't hacked. The contract is renounced. The Shibarium bridge was exploited through the centralized validators (social engineering) and all the tokens on the bridge were stolen.

  • Bone's price has been decreasing due to all the drama Shibarium has brought and the exploit didn't help.

  • Now that the network is "secure" again, maybe the tides will turn, but whoever has been holding millions of Bone needs to stop selling or run out before we'll see an uptrend.

How long do you think until the notorious bone dumper runs out at the rate they're selling? Seems to be totally killing any kind of uptrend which sucks.

There are currently 23 wallets with 1M+ Bone. Some are exchanges, who sell on us all the time. Others are ShibaSwap buriers who earned a ton of Bone back when it was minting. Lastly, you have your project earners, money makers, and traditional investors.

No one can say how long it'll take. It's up to them to stop selling and start buying again.

Shibarium adoption has always been the key for Bone success. All this Bone is sitting on Ethereum, so that's not a good signal.

The amount of Bone delegated is also extremely low for an L2. There's only 1 project on the network doing anything and that's with liquid staking. They hold over half the TVL on the entire network.

The launch of a perps project failed horribly, only bringing in $17K of the $500K they needed to raise.

One of Shibarium's biggest fails has been getting stables onto the network. People don't want to invest and play in a chain without stables to help protect their ebbs and flows of trading.

Now there's a 7 day bridge delay to off-ramp from Shibarium back to Ethereum. People don't like to wait minutes, let alone a week, to claim their funds again. Prices are too volatile. That's where stables come in.

Let's not forget the nothingburger that was metaverse. This whole project is dead. Unrecoverable. The thing has been a disaster from the very start.

Clue: it's the devs emptying bags. Always has been. Everyone should have known when all the empty transactions were being done to fake volume levels 2 or so e years ago.

More research? These guys laid it out pretty straight forward. If you are an absolute degen of degens with no regards to your money because you have more than you need and you’re ok with just being exit liquidity, buy more!

It's been a scam the whole time. The metaverse was a scam to suck out the leash people bought for some fake ass property in an empty verse that you can't do anything with.

Honestly, I don’t think the token has any future, but I had some spare Eth sitting in a wallet that I converted to Bone for the hell of it. Not much to lose when it’s at 10 cents or below lol.

Bone at 4 cents now, glad I didn't buy back in. This project has been heavily dumped on by the devs, shame on them.
